On Saturday Susie D became our first lady to complete 30 Muscle Ups for time- 13:42.

As some of you know Susie battled with a foot injury a few months back and was limited to doing pretty much just upper body strength work for a couple of months. It was an extremely frustrating time for her but she kept coming in when it would have been easy to use her injury as an excuse to take some time off. While she was injured she focused on the things she could do v.s. getting upset by the things she couldn’t and it paid off.
After not touching the rings for nearly 3 months, Susie did 5 sets of 3 in a workout coupled with Deadlifts. This past Saturday was the icing on the cake.
For those of you who are currently dealing with an injury of some sort we encourage you to still come in and do the things you can. Use you injury as an opportunity to get better at things you wouldn’t normally work on v.s. using it as an excuse to sit on the couch.
